FUN FACTS: Charlie And The Chocolate Factory - Wonka Bars

In 2005, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory brought brand new props/wardrobe to the world. As you would have guessed, they added a brand new twist on the classic Wonka bar.

Most of the Wonka bars were made out of plastic, why? Well if a character is not eating the chocolate, it saves money.

Also if everything was made from chocolate on a long hot day, they would have to make brand new ones for every time they needed them in the shots. That means big money so they decided to make them out of plastic to sustain its shape.

They made four main versions for the film including the Chilly Chocolate Crème, the Whipple-Scrumptious Fudgemallow Delight, Nutty Crunch Surprise and Triple Dazzle Caramel. The dimensions of each bar are 19cm long by 9cm wide by 1.2cm high.
