PROPS: Beetlejuice - Tentacle Rock Sculpture Model

A tentacle rock sculpture model miniature from Tim Burton's iconic Beetlejuice went to the auction block.

This sculpture is made of wood, metal, resin and acrylic painted blue and grey. It is one of several static models in a scene that also featured articulated stop-motion sculpture pieces. Stop motion is a favorite of Tim Burton as in the scene, the recently deceased ghosts (Geena Davis and Alec Baldwin) tried to scare the new inhabitants of their house by making their sculptures move.

“The sculpture is mounted on a black plastic-and-wood display stand and exhibits some paint chipping to the metal, as well as various cracks and exposed materials throughout. Dimensions: 26 cm x 18.5 cm x 10.75 cm (10 1/4" x 7 1/4" x 4 1?4")”

This sculpture sold on September 30th, 2019 for $1,000 with the Propstore auction.
